Kids Report - Way 2 Glo Girl

On my birthday, Nicola from Way 2 Glo came to show me and a few friends how to look after our skin and apply makeup properly. First she showed us how to cleanse our skins properly and told us how to look after our skin. Then she showed us how some colours suit us better than others and used coloured scarves to work out which season each of us was - I am a Spring. She gave us all a keyring with our colours on - great for our next shopping trip! We then started to put eyeshadow, mascara, lip gloss and blusher on, based on the colours of our season. Nicola explained why putting too much makeup on just spoils the way we look and showed us ways to put it on that will be helpful in the long term. I felt much better and more confident with myself after she had finished. My mum and most of my friend’s mums don’t really like us putting make up on but we all do because we enjoy it, so its better that we know how do it properly.
