Kids Report - Glaze to Amaze
On my birthday my friends and I went to Glaze to Amaze. Because it was my birthday and I had booked it, they saved a table for us. They also gave us a drink and put helium balloons on the table for us to take home. We were allowed to bring nibbles and a cake as well. The staff, who were very friendly, showed us what we were allowed to paint. While they were washing the ceramics we had chosen, we looked at all the bright colours of paints there were on the table. All sorts of colours. We had a look at the sponges and stencils and chose the one we wanted. If we got stuck or couldn't paint something the staff would help us. It was great fun and if you go I hope you enjoy it too!

February 2001
On the 25th February I went to Glaze to Amaze, which is a place where you can paint your own pottery. On one side of the shop there are lots of shelves with millions of pottery items on them, for example piggy banks, different size plates, tiles, egg cups, cups and bowls. Then there are lots of stencils and sponges in the back room to help you. Then on each table there are lots of paints, about 36 of them. I painted a fruit plate and Penny showed me how to make a blue background and then I painted dolphins, sea horses and crabs on it. It was amazing!
